I am a seasoned audit and advisory professional serving the insurance industry in Europe and Asia for 24 years. Being a technical profile, I am passionate about IFRS 17, IFRS 9, Solvency II and all other related topics where I can combine my deep technical understanding of the accounting standard with excellent knowledge of actuarial techniques and many years of experience with insurance business, products and processes. My ability to perform a sharp analysis of the requirements, come to a reasonable conclusion, take a position and then translate it into pragmatic, workable solutions has been appreciated by my clients across geographies. My knowledge and experience span life insurance, non-life and reinsurance. I started with EY Belgium in 1996 and am currently working at EY Hong Kong, leading the Financial Accounting Advisory team serving financial services clients.
