Axel Vervoordt Gallery, a renowned gallery with headquarters in Belgium, is pleased to organize for the BLCC community a guided tour of the solo exhibition of German artist Otto Boll in their gallery space in Hong Kong. Boll is an artist who operates from an expressly minimalist sensibility.

The exhibition consists of a series of Boll's minimalistic sculptures which are acutely reduced forms of steel that hover in the space, almost cutting through it. Suspended by barely visible nylon thread, these sculptures – lines drawn in the air – seem to float and inhabit the area and space overhead.

Moreover, the artist's early video work "Paper Bag Film" in 1980 will be on view, which investigates the notion of inside and outside, the emptiness and fullness, and the perception of the human gaze and mind in a space that cannot be entered.

After the guided tour, you are invited to stay for some drinks and bites at the Gallery space.

This is a Members only event.
