Goodbye to The Excelsior & Dickens Bar

With The Excelsior hotel in Causeway Bay set to close its doors after 31 March 2019, Hong Kong loses another one of its classic iconic hotels although the building is set to remain.

Opened in 1973 as the largest luxury hotel in Hong Kong at the time, it's been the home for many guests & celebrities and it even starred prominently in a movie: Revenge of the Pink Panther with Peter Sellers. More info on the hotel here (click)​.

Your BLCC proposes to partake one last time in the Happy Hour of Dickens Bar on Wednesday 27 March 2019 from 18:30 onward as a way saying goodbye to the legacy that is The Excelsior.

This will be an unofficial impromptu BLCC networking opportunity, free to join for whoever is available. Drinks / food are to be bought at your own expense, registration is not required. Happy Hour prices extend till 8pm.
