On 23 March, the BeLux Chambers in Asia Collective presents its next High Caliber Speaker web talk. This time featuring two speakers providing our guests insights in how one goes about postponing an enormous event like the Dubai Expo 2020!

`

The Directors of the Belgium & Luxembourgish Pavilions Myriam Cops (BE) and Daniel Sahr (LU) join us from Dubai as the Expo draws to a close, talking to our guests about questions such as:

  • how does one postpone such a massive event & keep morale high?
  • what is it like to organize national pavilions during a World Expo?
  • how did the cultural differences affect the organization?

  • as Myriam was involved in the previous World Expo in Shanghai as well, how was this World Expo different?
  • what learnings, tips & tricks can our speakers share with our guests from their experience?
  • what is next for our 2 speakers?

We warmly invite our business communities from across Asia to join in for this insightful talk. Once again you are very welcome to submit any questions beforehand. We hope to see you online on the 23rd!

PS: as Japan will be the next host country for the EXPO, our colleagues of the BLCC in Japan invite members to participate in a virtual tour of the Luxembourg Pavilion together with Pavilion Director Daniel Sahr scheduled for 28 March 4pm - 4.45pm!
